Well at least it’s not white outside. We’ve had rain through the night so it’s quite mild, but extremely wet underfoot and still raining. Won’t be going for a walk just yet then.
We’ve put some washing on as we can get it dry indoors, but other than that, there’s not a lot on our agenda today.
Hubby intends to put a shelf up under the dart board to put our hats and gloves on instead of cluttering up the radiator. The first coat of varnish dried almost red so had to be stripped and he gave it a coat of clear varnish yesterday. That has dried beautifully so has had its second coat this morning.
I’m pleased with my efforts this week as depicted in the previous post. This time last week I was out of my set parameters, so glad to have pulled it back by weigh in on Sunday. I’m hoping to be smack on target tomorrow, but if I’m not, at least I’ve had a good loss this week.
Breakfast this morning was porridge with strawberries and blueberries. I had been adding sugar so that has now been kicked into touch and replaced with soft fruit.
I bought mangoes, pineapple, strawberries, and blueberries at discounted prices yesterday so can do myself a smoothie for my final snack rather than a fruit salad as I have been. It’s the same syn value of 1 for the yogurt, but as I won’t have the granola on top, that will save me two syns. Wow! That’s almost a gingernut LOL!!
Lunch is going to be tuna fish cakes and baked beans, nice and simple, and I’ll add some cherry tomatoes to my plate. It’s filling and the only syns will be for any oil I use in the frying pan.
