Late Tuesday

Tuesdays are a busy day in blogland and there are several challenges I enjoy to participate in.
However, it is fast approaching eleven o’clock and I am shattered.

Hubby’s hospital appointment went very well and as his reflux has come back, he is being referred to the relevant department for further investigation. The good news is that all of his tests have been clear of anything nasty, and what was found is nothing to worry about.

We went shopping after that, getting me a new phone with bigger buttons, but there’s no manual with it, and we can’t find one on-line. Hubby has been a brick and gone onto a helpline and the guy responding to him was terrific. My number has been transferred from the old phone as has the credit, and all being well the contacts will be transferred by tomorrow.

We’ve been out for our second walk and came across a seal pup on the pathway under the flats. Typical, no camera! We could see how he got there, and he seemed perfectly OK, just having a snooze. We’ll go up tomorrow to check on him, if necessary calling the seal sanctuary to come and check him over. The tide was quite high but going out so he could have been having a breather. Apparently it’s not uncommon and we did come across a pup last year

Anyway, I have been trying frantically to catch up with my blog and it’s just not happening! I think I’ve responded to all comments and 3TC participants, but on several posts I have been unable to like or comment, so if you think I’ve forgotten you, please know I responded to pingbacks and approved them.ย  I appreciate all your contributions and like to acknowledge them all.

I shall be coming back to the challenges tomorrow as I’m not even halfway through my reader,ย  so I’ll bid you all goodnight for now.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

You had a very busy day! Rest well, my friend. I’m glad hubby is getting some answers, and how cool to find a seal pup. I love seals, but I have never seen one in real life, only pictures. Hopefully the little guy will be okay. Big hugs to you! ๐Ÿ™‚

It must be challenging to keep up with all your blog commitments! I always wonder how you do it. Must be too organised ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Ha. Not really Trish. I was used to working to strict deadlines so developed some good time management skills. I prepare my 3TCs a week in advance and the Fibbing Friday is also loaded for this week. Mondays and Tuesdays see some prompts and challenges I enjoy but my computer wasn’t being kind yesterday either and we were out for the entire afternoon. Hopefully I’ll catch up with the prompts today or tomorrow.
