Same Same But Different
Your ‘Same Same But Different’ task is to take the five challenge words and NOT use them in your writing. That’s right, you need to dig out your thesaurus and find a synonym for each word instead.
Your words are:
She placed the final gift (1) under the large spruce (4) and stood back.
It had been a while since she commemorated (2) Christmas, but this year was special, as would be those in the future.
This year, all family disputes had been dispensed with and she was going to meet her three year old grand daughter for the first time.
Her guests would arrive after dinner (3) and she could not wait to see her face when she discovered Mr Kringle (5) had left parcels for her here too.
