It’s Sunday and time for Amy’s Sunday Ramble where she picks a topic and asks five questions. Nip over to her blog and join in. It’s fun.
This week’s topic is “this or that?“.
If you are unable to choose, tell me why you choose both! *smiles*
Here are the questions:
- Glass half full or glass half empty?
- Train or airplane?
- Sneakers or dress shoes?
- See the future or change the past?
- Test the waters or dive in the deep end?
- Glass half full or glass half empty?
I’m a half full kinda gal, but even if I wasn’t, I always make sure I know where the tap is.
- Train or airplane?
Plane. I love to fly.
- Sneakers or dress shoes?
Definitely trainers. I own one frock, but no shoes to go with it now. Somehow wellies, boots or trainers don’t go. I was wearing none here in 2017 (love the suntanned feet)
- See the future or change the past?
We take each day as it comes, good or bad. I would only change one day, and that would be for just five minutes, May 8th 1996, when I would hug my Dad and tell him much I loved him. He had a massive heart attack on the 9th and never regained consciousness.
- Test the waters or dive in the deep end?
Ever cautious, this gal likes to try things out or visit new places before she commits herself. Thus it was a MAJOR milestone going to NZ on my own in 2010. I’d never been fishing in my life either, but caught the first fish, which turned out to be the only snapper of the day. You can read all about that here.
Fun answers and a ‘peek’ at Di! Always nice! 🙂 (I’m with you about those horrid dress shoes.) I had to wear a pair to a recent church function, and my feet hurt for quite a while afterward too. I have three pair – all flats, all old, one in navy, one in black, and one brown plain pair. If it weren’t for church, I wouldn’t have those. I just keep ’em around for emergency situations though. Give me bare feet or my ‘boat shoes’ any old day though!
I;m wearing a pair of men’s slippers indoors because the ladies sizes seem to be four sizes smaller than I remember my feet!
Loved your answers and the suntanned feet, Di! At home, I am either in socks or slippers in the cold weather and then I spend the summers with bare feet or flip-flops. I choose my sneakers because I am prone to collect them and socks *giggles* I used to be able to wear heels, but age stops me now lol. My ankles don’t like to balance anymore or something lol. I definitely can relate to the 5 minutes. Thanks for rambling with me! I always enjoy your them from you! Happy Sunday!
Thanks Amy
You’re welcome!
Love your answers!
Thanks Val!
