Fibbing Friday 10th December

Hello and welcome to Fibbing Friday where you’re invited ignore the truth as you know it and make something up though please remember to keep it family friendly. Thanks!
My turn to host this week as regular readers know I alternate with Frank, aka PCGuyIV https://pcguyiv.wordpress.com/

Anyone can join in, and all you have to do is write a post with your answers to my 10 questions below and tag it “Fibbing Friday” or #FibbingFriday.
Link back to this post so that others can enjoy your answers and maybe join in as well! The more the merrier.
If you use WordPress, pingbacks are enabled, so as long as you link to this post, it should show up. Bear in mind though that they are usually approved manually, so don’t be surprised if the link doesn’t show immediately as I may be late accessing my blog.
You can also leave a link to your post in the comments.

I didn’t know what to do for this week, then as we were driving home the other day, I thought of a game we used to play as kids on long journeys about what various road signs meant…… ‘Beware of Indians’ for arrows showing priority of traffic or ‘Beware of Bananas’ for steep curves/ ends. You probably played it too.

Anyway, I don’t know if this will work as it’s images but I hope you’ll be able to have some fun with it.  The narratives are roughly what they stand for. I’ll post my answers later.

NB:
If you’re not keen on this idea, let me know and I’ll post an alternative later.

1. Windy roads

2.  T junction with left priority

3. Roadworks/ Men at work

4.  Road narrows (both sides)

5. No footpath

6. Headphones in use, might not hear approaching traffic (not sure if this is legit actually)

7. Humps in road

8. No explosives

9. Gradient

10.  EU sign for pedestrian crossing.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
