Funny Dr Tanya should choose this as I have thought recently that my blog has become stale and dull.
This week, I’ve used a few of my older Three Things Challenge logos because, lovely as they are, I was tired of the Peace roses I’d used for 2021. My logic was that if I was fed up with them, the chances are so are my readers.
My Today Is………… posts usually finish with my Keep Safe Rainbow, but that’s important so I shall stick with that. As long as they remain popular, I shall carry on with them as they are just diary entries about our day or plans (which are never exactly exciting) but carry a degree of normalcy. They also help me keep track of time.
I try to vary my content, and when doing photo challenges, look for an angle that some people may miss, or spot something in the picture that may be overlooked and concentrate on that.
I follow a fair few people because their blogs have mixed content and interest me. I don’t mind reposts as long as they are marked as such and not presented under a different title (unless a reason is given) and if you have a dog, or any pet actually, you’ll gain my attention.
Dr T is right when she says it’s not much fun doing the same thing or writing the same kind of posts over and over again. However, sometimes it is extremely difficult to come up with something original.

Your blog is great IMHO. You host and co-host some fun challenges, and I love the glimpse each day into how your life is going. I realize that same old same old gets boring after a while though. One thing that some bloggers have done is to hold a sort of contest to get some fresh logo fodder for their blogs, and for me? I’m always taking out time (too much lately it seems though) to make a new one for my stuff. Your design is beautiful with the roses and perhaps it would be fun for you to spend some time making one or two new ones for your challenges? Aw, shucks Melanie. Thank you for your kind words. I’m going to do a variety of logos for next year for the 3TC using pictures I’ve taken.
You have regular features but it is never the same and it is never ever boring! I try to mix things up – poetry, prose, ceramics, crafts, and a little food porn too!
I like your posts too, and like the idea of food porn……………. guess that covers my cheesecakes very well!

I completely agree that it is not easy coming up with new content and also that one gets bored with writing and reading the same kinds of things.
This is why I changed the format of my Blogging Insights prompt.
