Today is Sunday Dec 5th

It is CHUCKING it down outside. It’s cold and windy, and in short, we ain’t going anywhere!

It’s been raining practically all night and I heard most of it. I could not get comfortable, if my feet weren’t cold, they were itchy, then when I got them sorted out, my shoulder or back hurt. The swelling has gone down in my back but it is still tender. I think I slept awkward a couple of nights ago and it was such a deep sleep, I didn’t move all night.
I had a hot shower this morning and just stood there letting the water do its bit. It’s helped.

Hubby is also out of sorts, we think having caught a chill the other day, so lunch is a quiet affair of jacket potatoes and tuna with mixed veg on the side.
The scales were OK-ish, but I have had a sock gain of half a pound on last week, but I am still within my target parameters so not too worried. I am intending to enjoy my Christmas Dinner and all the trimmings so working towards it now! I am looking forward to two days off with no syn counting!

Have a good day and keep safe everyone.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

    How is hubby doing now?

    • I was lucky to get away with just a sock gain, but think I’ve got back into the swing of it now. Hubby is doing well, thanks and things are looking very positive!
