It’s Sunday and the second outing of the Sunday Ramble Prompt. You can find out more and join in here
This week’s topic is “favorites“.
Here are the questions:
- What is your all time favorite food for any occasion?
Cheesecake. I love it, and was given a foolproof recipe that requires no cooking!
- What is your favorite season and why?
I love Autumn because of the amazing warm and rich colours.
- Pick three of your most favorite colors and tell me why you love them.
My favourite colour is green, but I also like purple and blue.
- Who is your favorite person on the planet?
He is
- What is your most favorite personality trait in other people?
I’d normally go with loyalty, trust and honesty, but today I’m going for fun as we don’t have much to laugh about these days. It’s makes our daily challenge of making at least one person smile every day even more important.
All photos except the above quote are mine.
Addendum:
Amy answers a different Q3 on her responses, so I’m including that one here too
3 (ii) Where is your favorite hiding spot when you want to not be bothered by anyone or anything? If you do not have a special place, make one up.
Years ago, the only place I could ever get any peace and quiet was in the bathroom!
I used to grab a good book and my radio, then run a bath with loads of bubbles and lock the door! You wouldn’t see me for at least an hour.
It’s fun to learn a bit more about you! (non-invasive of course). I just read “A Rose..” in conjunction with Sadje’s Poser today, and that’s fascinating. I’m glad they didn’t stick to “Robert” too. I squeaked out of being named “Georgia” by a whisker (or Georgette or Georgianna 🤢 ) because my dad was “George” and his family thought it would so cute to have me be his ‘mini-me” (long before such a concept was popular. My mother favored “Ellen” as she had a favorite aunt named Ellen. Thankfully both of them were in agreement on Melanie. My mother on the other hand, was like you, she was SUPPOSED to be a boy. Her father was so incensed when she turned out female, that he refused to weigh in on any name. So they did stick an “A” on the end of my grandfather’s name and that was what they named my mother. She HATED her first name, and was always grumping about how ugly it was. It’s weird how baby names come about sometimes!
My sister was nearly called Gloria and that was the chosen girl’s name up to about a week before she was born. Mum went to the cinema and there was a little girl called Gloria who was disobedient, rude and downright horrible!
My Dad wasn’t worried when I arrived with the wrong plumbing though. I was a home birth and he helped deliver me. My brother was fascinated that I’d been in his Mummy’s tummy when he went out and there I was in a crib when he came home. He watched over me like a hawk apparently.
Cheesecake is amazing! I am in love with it lol! It’s really funny because all of my life, I had never tried cheesecake until I moved to California and tried Cheesecake Factory’s Lady Godiva Cheesecake. Now I am addicted. Your autumn picture is absolutely gorgeous! I love when the leaves turn like that. We don’t see that much where I am at because it is mostly palm trees. You would love my room if you like blue…it’s very blue lol. We are going to paint it a different color soon to match my Saints curtains and bed quilt. I love the picture of hubby and puppy. I somehow figured he would be your favorite *smiles*. Fun and laughter are great too! I chuckled when I read your hiding spot lol. Sometimes that is the only place I get peace as well, but the dogs always follow me in there, so I am never really alone. Thanks for joining in! I enjoyed your answers.
Thanks.
Lol! The bathroom is a good place to hide! Loved your answers Di! Xo
Thanks Carol Anne. It was also the only room with a lock on it! There was a downstairs cloakroom, so I wasn’t depriving anyone of the throne!
