Today is Friday Dec 3rd

Good morning everyone.

I had this in my notifications this morning.  Wow.

The day is chilly, but so far no rain or snow. There are some ‘iffy’ clouds out to sea so all that might change!

Plans today aren’t very much other than the running around we didn’t do yesterday. I shall buy some minced beef to make a cottage pie for lunch rather than try to defrost some quickly. I’ll buy a pack and divide it up as we usually do freezing the rest for another time. I have room in my freezer for a few Christmas goodies now so shall see what is available at a reasonable cost.
I wonder what Chritsmassy music will be playing in the shops today?

Keep safe everyone.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

  1. What a cool notification! Congrats and well done!

  2. Almost 4 years of daily posts- wow!.

Apart from the fact it’s pouring with rain here, my days sounds very similar to the one you’re embarking on!

    • Thanks Keith. When you think I’ve just clocked up 800 for the 3TC, that’s over half of it!

No rain yet, and it’s quite mild so we’re making the most of it.

Wow, what an achievement, Di! Enjoy your cottage pie – one of my favourite meals 🙂

    • Thanks Chris.
Lunch was delicious and I added mixed veg then topped the mash with small chunks of cheese. So quick and easy, and something Hubby can digest with no problems.
