Simply Six Minutes: 23rd November

This one is brilliant!!
Dahling! It’s so good to see you!
Yeah, you too, but…………
It’s been months. You haven’t changed at all!
Erm, thanks. Can……………….
Let me just check your pouches……..
What? Do you mind!!
But Dahling! You need to share!
Will you gerroff me!! And cut your nails!
You don’t have to be hostile you know.
Look, I don’t know who you are,  or where you come from. My food pouches are none of your concern, so will you just push off!
Dahling! You mean you don’t recognise me?
Sorry, no.
You don’t remember that night?
I don’t remember yesterday let alone one particular night, now go away!
You promised you’d look after me if I gave you…….. you know……..
No I don’t know, and whatever it was, it’s doubtful I actually wanted it. Clear off!
You’re just like the rest. I gave you my warm place in the run and now you cast me aside!
Oh god, please don’t cry. I’m sorry I don’t remember. I’m still groggy from hibernating.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
