Christine at Stine Writing has given us this picture to work with for her Simply Six Minutes challenge this week.
She came bearing gifts to The Cat God, the one who resided over the Valley of Steeples.
She had to tread carefully as the waters were not always shallow, but The Cat God did not like to be awakened too early from his slumber.
She stood up past her knees in the holy waters, flanked either side by churches and cathedrals built over the centuries in His honour. It was believed he toyed with them as playthings when the mood took him. Those that displeased him had turned brown and barren in a forest of green turrets.
Her mission was to deposit her precious cargo and leave silently.
Her problem was she was allergic to cats.

Achoooooo!
hehe! She was absolutely the wrong one to send on this errand!!
Ha!
Fascinating image!
Thanks Susi
You’re welcome, Di! 🙂
Wow, Di, that is an awesome story! I want to read more!
Ha! It took me a while as I really didn’t know where to take it. Hubby saw the paw and then the cat’s face, and if I look really close, it could even be two!
Di, it won’t give me a reblog option! Did WP do away with it for some reason? It happened once last week too!
I’ve just checked the post and the reblog button is there. I hadn’t removed it, so don’t understand. Maybe WP was just having a funny five minutes (or six, haha)
I think it is me for some reason. It isn’t an option for me on anyones blog. I checked widgets and all that and it says the button is there…we all know WP can have a mind if it’s own sometimes! I will have to keep trying
Always do it as a pingback maybe.
Haha!
Thanks
Very nice!
Thank you!
