” A blog is merely a tool that lets you do anything from Change the World to Share Your Shopping List. “

Oh I love this, especially as I share my shopping list and habits quite often on my blog!
Part of the attraction of blogging is that we’re all individuals with our own thought processes and opinions. That doesn’t mean to say that ideas that originate on blogs couldn’t be applied for ‘the greater good’. After all, everything starts with an idea.

Blogging is a sharing platform, so wouldn’t it be lovely if a blog or blogs, could change the world?  Sometimes I wonder if politicians should read blogs, because ideas therein are perhaps a lot better that what they’re coming up with! (Just my opinion)
A blogger has a problem, identifies what’s causing it and explores different avenues to overcome it. In the process,  they perhaps see a fuller picture and implications of what the results of certain actions could be. ‘Thinking it through’ as my Dad would say.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

If only politicians read blogs by ordinary people. Very well said

  2. So much more thought goes into blogging than with social media sites. The posts and the comments they attract are a far better measure of public opinion.

That is all true. In addition when we share a problem it is like a think tank – all the other bloggers can add their 2 cents and somehow the ideas flow!!
