It’s not just me then…………..

Over the past couple of months I have noticed my viewing stats are dwindling. Usually I don’t worry about it as it’s the comments and interaction that I feel are more important, but reading Melanie’s post today maybe it’s not just me.

Lately, there has been so much going on at home that I’ve been late accessing my blog and inspiration has been on vacation. Maybe it’s time for me to try something new or not do so many challenges and write more about what’s going on around me.

I appreciate that fellow bloggers have much more interesting things to do than read my witterings all the time, but as long as you continue to talk to me, that’ll be just great.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

I agree. I usually try to combine prompts and hope it doesn’t offend anyone.🥴☺️

  2. Interesting or profound? I think mundane can be interesting and consequently the challenge. I enjoy something short, sweet and from a different point of view . . . just saying, Claudia

Di, the same has happened to me. I don’t do a lot of challenges, but my stats have gone down too. I thought it was something I was doing that was putting people off. But then I read Fandango’s post the other day and now you, and I have yet to read Melanie’s post, and I realise this is a general trend.

I will try to read your blog more, Di. It is not lack of interest, but I will make an extra effort to respond to you. Keep posting!

You are a part of my daily routine. An enjoyable one.

🙋‍♀️ I’m just busy with life. I still love catching your posts.

  6. Funny because I thought it was just me! See, the more people communicate the more they see how much they have in common.

I’ve noticed that many of my readers are in different time zones so my posts go live when they are offline. It has always been that way but recently I noticed that their posts don’t always show up when I expect them… It is starting to feel like FB where I’ll read an entry that was 4 hours ago and then the next one that is in line on reader is from 2 days ago… Though not so blatant as FB. I do enjoy all your posts but often don’t access them until later in the day (here) and you’ve probably been asleep for hours!

    • Time zones can indeed play a vital part in stats, which is why I post my 3TCs early here. I look forward to some challenges, but sometimes they don’t come in until the day after I expect them, if at all, so I go looking. Several have simply disappeared. It’s all swings and roundabouts, but I love the interaction so time doesn’t really matter so much. Always happy to see a comment from you Val. Glad you like to read my writings.
