Fandango’s FPQ today is
Do you consider yourself today to be more of a spontaneous person or more of a stable person? Which characteristic in others, spontaneity or stability, do you prefer? Why?
I’d probably be seen as an old stick in the mud or a fuddy duddy as I tend to be set in my ways. I like roots and feeling on solid ground rather than flying by the seat of my pants.
I can’t even be spontaneous about what to have for dinner! How sad is that?
Maybe in my younger days I was a little more adventurous and acted on impulse, sort of open my mouth before I’d put my brain into gear kind of thing.
Hubby and I were spontaneous in Weymouth once when we danced around a maypole that wasn’t there. MIL was not impressed (with anything that day actually) and I can still see FIL falling into a shop doorway in fits of laughter at our antics.
You can read about that here
I admire anyone who gets the balance right and can enjoy spontaneity as well as planning. We learned a long time ago that if we planned anything it always went belly up, so now we’ll simply have an idea and go with the flow.
