It’s Friday!
Welcome to my Take Seven compilation which incorporates all 21 words (or derivatives) from the Three Things Challenge for the past week.
You are most welcome to join in using as many or all of the words too. Just pingback to this post and then leave a link to your post in the comments so that I can see it and respond directly.
As always, have fun, and I hope you enjoy this week’s effort.
Our words were:
book, cruise, curse, daft, dreams, fat, froth, fuel, further, hand, key, litter, party, pity, prosper, remnant, roller, shrink, single, stay, task.
She was always known as The Fat Girl, and most didn’t even know her name. They simply saw her size as a curse and fuel for ridicule in their belief she would stay forever single, having no brains to prosper. To them, she was a stupid woman who would shrink away to a pity party of self loathing, and few looked further than down the end of their noses.
How wrong they all were.
She was not daft at all, and won a variety of prizes from a litter of competition puzzle books, one of which was the cruise of her dreams. She set herself the task of getting into shape, and by the time she was handed the key to a first class cabin, she kicked the remnants of her past tormentors into touch.
Her prize included dining at the Captain’s Table and being treated like a VIP. She was excellent company, the froth from her champagne tickled her nose and she felt she was on a roller coaster of happiness.
I hope she doesn’t wake up from that paradise! I’m hoping her cruise led to other dreams coming true!
You never know……………….
An awesome little tale Di! Loved it! Xoxo
Thanks!
