Welcome to my daily Three Things Challenge.
Below are three things that may, or may not, be related. Simply read the prompt and see where your creativity takes you.
You can use one, two or all three words in your post, there are no restrictions regarding length, style, or genre apart from keeping it family friendly.
Remember to tag your responses with 3TC, #threethingschallenge or TTC and you can also add my logo if you wish, the roses of which are from our Peace bush last year.
Invite us along by creating a pingback to this post, then leave your link in the comments so that other people can read your writings and I’ll see it to respond to you directly. You might like to check out some of the other contributions while you’re there.
I schedule the challenge to go out around 6.30 am UK time, but pingbacks have to be approved manually so might not show immediately. This could be because I’m late accessing my blog or due to time differences, but I will get there, I promise!
I look forward to reading your responses, and as always thank you all for your continued support.
Your three things today are:
LITTER
PITY
DREAMS
Through a stroke of serendipity I chanced to find a five pound note amongst the litter in the street; something that normally only happens in my dreams. 🙂 Back later, Di!
Lucky you! We had some similar luck many years ago……… I picked up a fiver, Hubby picked up a tenner, and then a twenty on our walk one morning. There was no-one else about. Chinese takeout that night!!
Wow, that’s what I call a worthwhile walk! Long, long ago when my dad was teaching me to drive, I was parking the car in Harrogate, and as I reversed I saw a fiver on the ground. Parking abandoned at my dad’s instruction, I leapt from the vehicle and pocketed it. Of course, a fiver was a lot of money back then. We spent it in the very lovely handmade chocolate shop there.
Ah, fond memories of finding half a crown (2/6d or 12 and a half pence today) in the sand on the beach. I had enough to buy ice cream for everyone in our group (about 8) and still had change. Oh happy days!!!
