Phone Pics 6th October

I was brushing my hair this morning after my shower and Hubby decided to take a picture of it. I cut off about an inch a few weeks ago to tidy it up a bit, and my rogue streaks on the sides have got so wide, they are almost dual carriageways. However, I was not quite expecting the ‘skunk’ detail I now have!
This is not a trick of the light or the result of using a flash as we still haven’t figured out how to get the best out of the phone for taking pictures! I enlarged this one though and that is definitely a light/white/grey streak down the centre at the back.
My hair always goes lighter in the Summer months anyway, so maybe it just got carried away and will continue bleaching until I’m totally grey. Just think, there are people who pay hundreds to have highlights like this!

Also on the phone chip was a couple of pictures I took of our In Loving Memory rose a little while ago. Again I’ve enlarged them and on checking the bushes today, we have another bud on this, 2 on Peace and 3 on Maggie’s rose. The Ancient Mariner knows no bounds and is in bloom with at least 10 more buds to come.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

I am thinking your hair looks beautiful! I have 2 “Bride of Frankenstein” white streaks – only really noticeable when my hair is no pulled back! I had trouble with the phone camera until I found the toggle to switch from Macro to Portrait!

    • Thanks. I found the ‘zoom’ but that’s about it on this one. I have the rogue streaks either side at the front too. Guess they will all meet up eventually!

awesome the flowers are in bloom! I have a lot of grey now in my hair and I am like but I am only 41! Its awful! I don’t want to go grey just yet! X

    • Going grey isn’t an issue for me. At 65, I sill have a lot of my natural dark colour. My sister wasn’t so lucky and went grey at 31 after having her second daughter!
