I have often mentioned the beautiful garden we have up the road which is always well tended and a riot of colour.

Passing by on our walk yesterday, I noticed some lovely pink flowers and typically, the only camera we had was on the phone.
We took the nikon on our walk this morning and took these.
Knowing very little about flowers, I would think these are related to the lily family.

In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives.
We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

Di, I think it’s Amaryllis belladonna. Very much like a lily.

Looks like a Nerine to me (in the lily family).
Or Amaryllis belladonna. Definitely in the family of Amaryllis.
One (Nerine) is called the Guernsey Lily, the other is called the Jersey Lily!
