Melanie has posted this today: check it out!!

She says:
I know it’s not Monday, but I only have ONE question.

Would you rather have a huge head of hair or be completely bald?  No middle ground!

My answer is a full head of hair, but if I had to be bald, it would be on my terms.
When it was thought I might need chemo in 2016, I was all for having my long hair cut short to save time and not be so dismayed should it fall out . Hubby experimented with various colours to determine which colour wig to have……. I liked the pink and turquoise best
Luckily it didn’t come to that and my hair is still long and dark, with just a wider ‘rogue streak’.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

  1. Thanks Di for Sharing Your World and playing along so well! 🙂 I really like that pink, but the purple isn’t bad either (but then I adore purple and if it were me, I’d get a purple wig or dye mine that shade. It would probably all fall out at that point .. Hmm) . Your hair is beautiful and I’m glad the chemo didn’t cost you losing it! Thanks again for sharing! 🙂

Glad you got to keep the hair! I have a friend who is recovering from from chemo and her hair has come in like a downy chick – it used to be thick and dark and now it is nearly blonde and so fine! I think the pink would have looked good….
