Today is Wednesday 22nd September

It is a beautiful day and this was what we saw when we pulled back the curtains at 6.30 this morning:

I cropped it to give you a better view:
We’re going for a walk this morning before we settle down to do anything as it is such a lovely day. I have a letter to post to my Aunt and I’ll be writing my Hello cards to our friends this weekend. I am hoping to make some more suitable cards for that this afternoon as my supply is very low.
We had a walk round the park last night and it was so peaceful. The geese are everywhere, flying off during the day and returning in the evening.  We must have had well over 100 fly over the house the other night.
Hubby took this of our Dipper family. We think these are the last of the ducklings, and so nice to see the family intact from the first time we saw them. So cute.
The pictures in this post were taken with the Nikon.

Have a lovely day everyone. Keep safe and take care.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

Great moon shot!! It is a very rainy and cool day here. But the geese have decided to hang out down the road under a cherry tree and eat all the cherries that have fallen. They are funny to watch – they appear drunk! I’m guessing the fallen cherries have fermented….

    • Ha! Drunk birds takes me back to my budgie and Dad dosing it with homemade wine when it fell off the perch, and pigeons who tucked in to the slops from Dad’s home brew when he was bottling it. They were definitely smashed!
