An Apology to my readers

I had a problem with a post yesterday that I could not access through my dashboard or see when I backtracked through the posts of the day. Everyone else apparently could, but not me. I posted a duplicate with the same result, nothing in my published posts list and when I viewed it via my blog pages, only the comments were visible.
It was very strange and I went on the forum, where they too could see my posts with no difficulty.
The stupid thing was Hubby could read them, and when we signed into my blog on HIS computer, so could I. I can only think that they were corrupted on my machine, so I have trashed them both. I have advised the forum accordingly and thank them too for their help.
The thing is, in so doing, I have also trashed your lovely comments, and I am so sorry about that as your support was wonderful. We even tried changing the title of the original but it didn’t make any difference. I can only think that for some reason the title was rejected/blocked/barred or whatever from my own computer as offensive in some way. How silly is that? So thank you all for your responses to Finding a New F** B**y.

There is a post with the same content under ‘Looking for a new dog’ which is up and running together with some lovely comments. Thank you.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

No apologies necessary. Something similar happened to one of my blog partners last week. Published but not published. I played with it for a while and got it to show up but have no idea what I did. My theory: Computers are not designed to work.

  2. I think that Fandango mentioned that he had some problems with his posts yesterday also.

    • Interesting……….. I use a laptop, but it was odd that I could sign into my blog on Hubby’s laptop and see the posts in my dashboard, but sign in on my own and they weren’t there.

The internet is being difficult lately. My laptop’s security was reset after an update and the parental controls were turned on so I was having an issue accessing certain sites! I had to clear the parental controls and now I can see my google searches (well more of them)!
