QUESTIONS
When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?
I’m a gas bag, so I will definitely have said more than I’ve done. However, if something I have said has helped anyone, then I have done something good.
What does the world need less of?
Politicians. IMO they are all two faced liars.
Do you feel older or younger than your age?
I certainly don’t feel 65, and people say I don’t look 65. Acting my shoe size probably has something to do with that.
What is a cause you’ll always passionately support?
Being a breast cancer survivor, it will be cancer support.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.

What is your personal affirmation if you have one? (for this instance “affirmation means emotional support or encouragement.” )
To be the best I can be and to care about other people, especially those who are alone.

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes!
In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too.
On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts.
From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives.
We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

I’m all for acting the shoe size!! And helping those who are alone in this world. BC (before coronavirus) we always had “orphans” join us for holiday meals – the people who had no family or whose family was so far away that they were not visiting… I want to get back to that but many of the orphans have passed from COVID.
Such a shame that Covid has claimed more than lives. We have a series of Buddy Benches along the beach road, which is a nice idea for someone who wants a chat. The idea is to sit down and someone will join you.
