It has taken a while, but Hubby’s INR has now been in range for two weeks in a row.
This is wonderful news because of the cock up at our previous surgery, which now appears to have set his parameters in the wrong bracket anyway to those of 10 years ago!!!
Oh what joy to be in the care of professionals!
Not only that, but Hubby is now being assigned a new nurse for continuance of care as the one he has been seeing is to qualify as a nursing practitioner and will only be at the practice one day a week. His next appointment is for two weeks. Hurrah!
And it gets better!
We have had notification of our flu jabs next month, so no messing about with trying to make an appointment only to be told they’ve run out of vaccine like the other lot!
Want a laugh?
Apparently Hubby overheard a conversation between the receptionist and a guy who lives practically opposite our new surgery who wants to move……………… to our old one!
Seems he is under the impression he will be able to get an appointment immediately and that the staff are efficient. We have had no issues since switching, so can only say
Dream on mate, and hope you have at least an hour to spare as you wait on hold.
Woohoo! Good news indeed!
Hurrah!!!
Goodness, I thought everyone in the UK had their jabs ages ago. Our second one in in two weeks time and I thought S Africa was way behind.
We’ve had both of our Covid jabs, and they are concentrating on those a lot younger than us. However, we don’t know if the mentioned third ‘booster’ will come into play in which case, we’d like to be prepared.
Such good news! I’m waiting for the notification of our flu shots too. It is all up in the air on the boosters for coronavirus. I’m hoping that we can get them if they become required….
All booked appointments are taken, but there are several walk in clinics we can attend
