Today is Thursday 29th July

Hello and good morning!

It’s a beautiful day here on the East coast, we have a lovely breeze and the washing is out on the line.

Hubby has his final INR with the surgery this morning, and we are wondering if they will actually do it. With three INR clinics now being run from the surgery here, we can’t see why not, and our argument would be that we didn’t have the required 24 hours notice to cancel. Anyway, if they don’t, we wouldn’t be surprised and already have a back up plan.

After that, we shall be off into town on the hunt for a new smoothie maker. The scrappy collected the old one yesterday, but we kept the bottle part as it is also a drinks container.
I’ve done a little research and think a jug style would suit me better, but rather than order something on line, there is an electrical store that has a good selection of smaller kitchen appliances and I bought Hubby’s blender from them which we are very pleased with. I looked at that yesterday, but it’s designed for chopping, not blending. The one I have in mind seems easy to clean which was a nightmare with the other one. We shall see what is available.

Just harvested our cabbages………………. off to deliver those promised elsewhere.

Keep safe and take care everyone

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
