Today is Tuesday 20th July

It has not been one of our best days, and a rant for the reasons will follow.

It’s hot again, but at least we have a breeze. However, even with the fan going, the lounge is at 25º C so we have the door and windows open too.

We needed to print off a letter to our GP this morning, and you may recall the recent problems we have experienced with our printer……… or lack of one. We saw one in one of the discount supermarkets for £35 over the weekend which was also a copier and scanner, and the same make as our previous one so were hopeful it would suit us.
Unlike the faffing about with WiFi buttons and routers with the HP laserprinter we bought and had to return, the installation of this went through with the minimum of fuss and is perfectly adequate for our needs.
We dropped the letter off on the way out this morning as I had to go to the bank.

The bigger town was a nightmare. The bank was equally a nightmare, and we couldn’t wait to come home. The return journey on the back roads was busy, and we cannot remember seeing so many vehicles coming towards us, most of which were either camper vans or delivery vans.

Hubby is taking a nap and I don’t blame him.

Hope your day is better than ours!
Keep safe everyone.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
