Blogging Quotes

Dr Tanya has had a shake up in her Blogging Insights format and we now face a different kind of challenge.
She says

Dear friends, it is time Blogging Insights got a makeover.

I am abandoning the Q & A format. In the new format I will post a quote about blogging or writing and ask you to express your opinion about it.

Analyse this:
Well, what can I say? When I started my blog in September 2013, I had no idea how it worked or what to expect. I didn’t think anyone would be interested in anything I had to say, let alone respond so splendidly to the challenges I now set!
I put a lot of myself into my blog. There are personal bits, nostalgic bits, humourous bits, doggy bits, food bits, sad bits, happy bits, day to day living, observations, budgets, book or film reviews and a whole mixed bag of challenges, photoprompts and random stuff with the Pensitivity101 ‘touch’.
If I didn’t enjoy it, I wouldn’t do it. End of story.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

Dammn, that was a short port but it gave me a lot of nostalgia and took my back to my initial thoughts and nervousness about blogging as well!

  2. Good thoughts on blogging and a very real ‘fear’ that we all face initially I think.

    Well said Di.

There are a few blogs that don’t come across as authentic. Those are the bloggers who I lose interest in quickly. I enjoy your blog because it does give a nice glimpse into your world!

  5. All the “bits” of yourself shine through in your blog and that is what the quite advises.
