Today is Sunday 27th June

Good morning everyone!
Hope your day has started well wherever you are.  It’s dull and overcast here in the UK just now, but not cold.

Hurrah with weigh in this week and I’ve lost the pound I gained last week. It really is a yoyo life trying to keep in target, but I’m glad I asked for the goalposts to be moved slightly as I am finding my revised target much easier to maintain. It was only by a couple of pounds but surprising how much of a difference it’s made.
Hubby’s diet is still very much up and down too. His weight is stable, but just when we think we’ve crossed a major hurdle, something else flares up and it is really two steps forward, one step back. However, saying that, there is definitely more variety for him.
Lunch today will be cottage pie and I am hoping one way or another there will be enough for him to have a second portion for his final meal later this afternoon. All being well there should be no ‘doh’ moment today as everything is fresh. Just got to be careful with knives!!

Not quite sure what we’re going to do with our day. We’ve been thinking about the printer, or should I say lack of one, and after the fiasco with the last one and having to take it back, we are doubly cautious. The general places we’d got them previously no longer sell them, and electrical retailers that are miles away have little in the way of choice. Those they have are too expensive, or the same brand as the one we took back.

Enjoy your day, take care, and keep safe.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

It’s been a quiet day here, dull most of the day and cold now it’s raining 💜

We are hot and humid today… We had to turn on the air conditioning to cool off the bedroom! As for printers – we did away with ours a while ago. We’ve been looking for a new one and will be ordering from Amazon as they have a big selection and we can check all the reviews in the Consumer Reports!
