It’s 11.15 in the morning and we’ve been quite busy.
We weren’t up that late as Hubby had an INR this morning and we needed a few things pending a larger shop tomorrow.
The good news is that he is back in range, but just in case it’s another glitch, has another test next week.
The supermarket was busy, and filthy. I took a freshly baked baguette off the shelf and another fell on the floor so we put that in the bin. The shelves are poorly stocked, but saying that, for all the hype about freezer food and tinned tomatoes shortages, there was a lot available.Ā Maybe the holidaymakers hadn’t got up yet. Fresh produce is a lot to be desired though, so we only bought baby plum tomatoes, bananas, grapes and 2 kiwi today.
It’s hot and stuffy today, even with the door open, as there’s no breeze. Hubby is trying out the CB but there are few takers. It could be something to do with atmosphere apparently, but I don’t understand these things. Maybe when it’s cooler, he’ll have more luck. Everything there is working OK though.
Another quiet day is on the cards for us. Lunch is a tinned curry and microwave rice as both are close to their best before dates. I shall have an egg mayo baguette for my final meal today, and as I bought bread, Hubby may well have toast with either marmite or peanut butter.
The cherries are being harvested and we are swimming in them!! I do love fresh cherries!! I’m glad the day is running smoothly and all is right in your world!
Thanks Val. My Mum craved cherries when she was pregnant with me, but I get fed up de-stoning them unless of course they are frozen and already de-stoned!
I hope the day continued well. I was busy cleaning ovens and bathrooms!š
Don’t envy you with the oven!!
No but it’s all done now š
yay!!
