A mind full of men

Those of you familiar with my card making efforts are aware that I use butterflies and flowers a lot, and recently have progressed to ribbons, feathers and leaves.
Not very manly though, is it?
So yesterday, I went into the craft shop specifically with men on my mind and came out with some puff stickers which I thought I could do something with.

I made two Crimble cards first using the picture from a gift bag, cutting out a trellis on one and two slots on the other so that they were different. This was the better of the two which I think works quite well.
Then I progressed to a paper bag and sheet of black paper to go with my puff stickers.
I used the animals today and will use the birds at a later date.
There were 8 stickers, and I got into a theme and used them all. They are not bad, even if I say so myself.

I used the Nikon to take my pictures today so they’re not that clear. The white ‘labels’ actually say Happy Birthday or similar. This was my favourite today which turned out better than I imagined.
Now I have a few cards suitable for the guys!

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

    • Thanks Elizabeth. The other puff stickers I bought are birds and one is an owl…………. I have an idea for that but need to think about how to put it together.
