QUESTIONS

What did you learn the hard way?
That just because someone says they love you, they don’t necessarily mean it.
I have no doubts now, but in my previous relationship, it was not me they loved, but what I could do for them and my bank account (until it was empty)

Which activities make you lose track of time?
Blogging!!

Why do we seem to think of others the most after they’re gone?
I wonder if something happens which triggers a memory, or perhaps we are not quite ready to let go or accept in this life we’ll never see them again. I think of my departed loved ones a lot.

Is it possible to know the truth without challenging it first?
Toughie. IMO it depends on the circumstances and the individual.
In relationships, even when we know the truth, sometimes we choose to ignore it (see 1: it took me several years to finally accept it).
If you have faith, you accept what is told to you as truth without questioning it.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

    Very good answers Di.

  2. Thanks so much, Di, for Sharing Your World! I continue to think that your ex was a really stupid individual. But maybe you had to endure him to get to the great catch you’ve got now? You’re lovely inside and out, and I wonder if those who have dismissed you in the past ever realize what they lost? Have a splendid and peaceful week! ☺

    • Thanks Melanie. Funny, Hubby is always saying that too, and how lucky he is. Actually, it’s how lucky I am to have him in my life, and I’m not going to blow it!!

  3. Great answers, Di. I lose track of time when I’m blogging too!
