Good morning and white bunnies as another month starts.
The day has started a little misty and overcast, but I can feel it warming up and think we might be in for another hot day. It was glorious yesterday.
With the Bank Holiday over, hopefully town should not be so busy, not that we have any intention of going anywhere or doing very much today. Hubby is snoozing on the settee opposite following a walk through the park first thing as I had a birthday card to post.
We have another new brood of goslings, and as I didn’t have my camera, I used the one on my phone. I haven’t looked at them yet but if some are any good, I’ll post them later.
I’ve spent a few minutes tidying up my address book where I keep details of birthdays and anniversaries as it had got in a bit of a muddle. Hopefully now I shouldn’t miss anyone, or as this morning, have a rush to get a card in the post to a friend!
We have another bean coming up and Hubby has put the wigwam up in the junk patch. We’ll wait another week to see if the final bean emerges, then transplant them outside.
Everything else is also coming along nicely.
Have a good day everyone. Take care and as always, keep safe.
I think today will be another hot one too.
It’s certainly getting warmer now!! have a good day Liz
You too. π
It’s hard to remember birthdays on time – especially for me over here, as cards are taking over a month to reach UK!
Sounds like a good day so far. Enjoy the sun. π
It’s lovely here Sci. Have just found my previous gosling on the back pic, and you might remember this post from 2018

Ah thank you for taking the time to look this up. π
Yes, I do remember it now. π
You’re welcome

We put off grocery shopping until today because of the hideous rush of people. I’m going shopping for plants for a friend’s garden and probably going to get a few extra as Sparky’s beans took a hit with the frost – killed about half and the others have only partial leaves – we thing the bunnies have taken out these remaining ones. The first set that sprouted were chewed to the root… He has finally put up the anti-rabbit fencing!
Our pest were pigeons, so Hubby put little wire cages round the cabbages and caulis.
sounds like a delightful morning Di! Glad you enjoyed the day and your walk in the park!
We did indeed have a lovely day
