Evening walk : 31st May

It has been a good day, and this evening cool but pleasant. Hubby joined me on my third walk today so I have done what I set out to do. I had a puppy fix with a poodle cross rescue who stands on his hind legs and waves at you for fuss, having earlier met up with another walker whose dog is a bit twitchy so we tend to give him space. On the way home, we were joined by the lady behind us whose dog we’ll be looking after when she goes into hospital. She has no date yet, but we’ve assured her we’re ready when the time comes.

Our neighbour found a spare plug so we don’t need to get one of those now, and the drill is working a treat, though Hubby still needs to replace some tools.
For those, we shall have a field trip on Wednesday as Hubby has a hospital appointment in the afternoon, so tomorrow will see us, hopefully, having a restful day.

The temperature indoors is 20º C and we have retired for the night.  All being well we should both sleep better. It’s been nice getting out of the house and not chasing our tails with work to be completed. I’m glad to have the house straight again though, and to have a tidy loft is an added bonus as we got rid of a lot of stuff today that took up valuable space.

Sleep well everyone. See you tomorrow.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
