Take Seven 21st May

It’s Friday!

Welcome to my Take Seven compilation which incorporates all 21 words (or derivatives) from the Three Things Challenge for the past week.
You are most welcome to join in using as many or all of the words too. Just pingback to this post and then leave a link to your post in the comments so that I can see it and respond directly.
As always, have fun, and I wonder if anyone twigged where I’d go for this week’s effort.

Our words were:
blend, border, colour, different, enterprise, favourite, franchise, hand, idea, identical, individual, made, personal, picture, pretty, remind, single, strong, suggestion, thoughtful, unique.
I’m good at figures and making money stretch, but as to whether I’d succeed in private enterprise or take on a franchise is a different kettle of fish.
Regular readers will know I enjoy making cards and with my usual trimmings no longer being available, it’s a case of thinking outside the box and making my own.
Handmade cards are very popular, and once I get an idea, I go with it. No two cards will ever be identical, as each is individual and unique making them perhaps more personal and thoughtful.
I can start with a picture, then make a border and blend in ribbons, feathers, butterflies or flowers. Stronger colours are muted with softer shades, but I like things to be pretty rather than fussy.
The suggestion of selling them has been made on several occasions, but I am my worst critic and remind myself that my efforts are far from perfect, though that can add to the charm I suppose.
I thought selling a single item for £1 or maybe 12 for a tenner, as this would definitely cover my outlay for materials.
After every session, there is usually a favourite too. These are some over recent years…….

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

You’ll never know if they will sell unless you try… the worst case scenario is that you don’t sell anything!
