SHARE YOUR WORLD 5-17-2021

It’s Monday and time for Melanie’s Share Your World.
QUESTIONS

What inanimate object do you wish you could eliminate from existence?
Probably a rolodex as everything seems to be digital and stored on a database. I still have an old fashioned address book!

What tells you the most about a person?
Their words? Mind you, what comes out of their mouth isn’t always the truth as we know from our politicians. If someone is talking to me, I look at their eyes. On the other hand, their actions and kindness can speak volumes.

What is something you thought would be easy until you tried it?
Anything to do with computers. My brain just isn’t wired that way. I can use one, but if something goes wrong, I’m useless.

What ridiculous and untrue, yet slightly plausible, theories can you come up with for the cause of common ailments like headaches or cavities?
Eating too much chocolate. Hubby and I discovered that if we timed it right, a piece of chocolate could actually ward off a headache.

GRATITUDE SECTION (always optional)

What are you grateful for since they ‘cured’ Covid?   (yeah, I realize it’s not cured.  But at least the vaccine is available and restrictions have eased up in many places.  If that’s a good thing or not remains to be seen I suppose)
I think if nothing else, lockdowns and socialising restrictions have made us appreciate what we have.  We’ve had our second jabs which has given us some protection and more confidence to go out, but despite the easing of restrictions we are still masking up  and sanitizing our hands when we shop.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

Great answers! And I agree, the idea that chocolate causes any sort of ailment is ridiculous! 😉
