We had been told that there was just one gosling chick last week, but when our neighbour walked through the park on Friday, she said she’d seen three families.
We decided to walk there today armed with my new camera to see what was what.
We saw the single chick, 2 families of five, and 2 families of eight. We also got some shots of eggs on the island and a nesting goose.
As always, I talked to my subjects, and the adults let me get quite close to take my pictures.
The egg shots and nesting goose were taken on full zoom as the island is in the middle of the lake.
We were standing on the bridge where the above picture was taken in November 2019, so I am well impressed with the latter pictures here!

So beautiful families photos of the goose.
They let me get quite close, though I respect them enough to give them space.
