The history behind the series:
A couple of years ago l introduced a series called “Blogger Reviewer Questions’ – it ran for 2 series from January 2019 – May 2019 and here is the third series. The answers provided two years ago helped me structure my blog and understand the blogging community – readers were asked a total of sixty questions, worry not, this series’ll be not that many and will only run once a week for the next four weeks
|What are your top 5 favourited Blog Genres – the ones you enjoy reading the most?
Dogs (all animals really, but mainly dogs), photography, humour, quizzes/questions, people
Have you ever experienced Writer’s Block and if so, what did you do to get yourself through it and if not, what do you do to avoid it?
Definitely, and I took myself away from the computer for a little while and did something else. Being on the boat was terrific when we went up river because we had no internet, so it was just us and nature. Perfect way to unwind and find new things to write about.
Bonus Question – Do you believe ‘writer’s block’ is an actual thing?
Yep. Sometimes it can last a few days, other times week, months, even years. Luckily I’m still gassing away.
Do you think colour psychology is an important part to the blogging journey and does it play a big part in how your readers view a blog?
I use coloured fonts if what’s written is not mine (as Rory’s intro above) or I’m quoting from somewhere like WIKI, but also if I’m using dialogue between different parties in my post. Some colour schemes on blogs are restful.
How do you feel about Interview series and or Guest Writing opportunities on other blogs?
Some are a good idea and interesting, others a bit too long winded for me. I introduced myself on Sue Vincent’s blog a few years ago. Her dog Ani and our Maggie were very similar. I haven’t actually done either though.
