Take Seven 30th April

It’s Friday and the last day of April!

Welcome to my Take Seven compilation which incorporates all 21 words (or derivatives) from the Three Things Challenge for the past week.
You are most welcome to join in using as many or all of the words too. Just pingback to this post and then leave a link to your post in the comments so that I can see it and respond directly.
As always, have fun, and I hope you enjoy this week’s effort which is a little different from those of late.

Our words were:
around, back, begged, first, giving, gone, hand, hold, joy, kindness, life, no, one, respect, showed, support, thanks, trembling, turned, way, was

Once
She begged,
But no more.
Those days were gone
Thanks to a kindness
When one showed her respect
Showed her the way with support,
And she felt love for the first time.
Her life turned around, and she found joy.
Now she shared love for the first time,
Supported others who sought help,
To hold a trembling hand,
Offering kindness
As she was shown,
Giving back
To those
Lost.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
