Blog Series Questions : 27th April

Rory asks us four questions in this series. You can check out more here

How many social networking platforms are you committed to for ‘social coverage’ for your written and published blog content? [Whatever your genre]

Only WordPress. I have no desire for anything else, though I did try Blogger and there is a site there but I haven’t used it for months.

How far ahead do you have planned or scheduled content to be published on your blog or are you more of a ‘in the moment’ type of writer?

I schedule my Three Things Challenge and Take Seven for the week, and when it’s my turn to host Fibbing Friday, that is usually scheduled a couple of days in advance together with my responses.

How long are you ‘in/on’ your blog for daily?

I’ve been on my blog only a couple of hours so far today, but usually it’s at least five, though not always consecutive. It depends what else I have to do or any appointments that have to be attended.

Are the social niceties of being LIKED important to you?

It’s nice, but not the be all and end all for me. I like the interaction via comments and challenges as we are all different and what one reader may like isn’t liked by another.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

  1. Hey Di, some excellent answers in there – yes LIKEs are not the be and end all for me either – interaction and engagement make is more complete for me too 🙂

I love the scheduled post feature. It really allows for flexibility in posting especially when I have morning commitments.

  3. Sadje says:

    Nicely answered Di.
