Today is Friday 23rd April

It is another gloriously sunny day here and if yesterday was anything to go by, town will be packed. We have no shopping to do, nowhere to be, and nothing that needs to be done, so we can relax and plod at our own pace, thus keeping out of everyone’s way.

The bathroom repair is done though we will be needing a tin of paint, but that can wait for a bit as the job has been done before it got any worse.

Stew is on the menu today, even though it is such a lovely day, as we’ve had almost a week of ‘other dinners’ . Finding alternatives has been a bit of a challenge, but we are still learning, so for the next few days we can relax in the food department too. The weight is OK and no drastic gains though I’m glad I don’t have a text weigh in on Sunday.

We had a call from the Hyundai garage yesterday asking if we were still interested in the I30. It is obvious their sales staff do not know where the delete button is on their database, as not only had we asked them to take us off, but following the last sales call (and 2 text messages to book in the maintenance work as per their recommendation), we had told them we’d purchased a citroen and no longer had our I10.
Oh well, customer feedback works both ways and an abrupt email has been sent to their head office as well as the branch we attended expressing our annoyance.

Not much on the agenda today, so I’m hoping to experiment with card ideas.
Have a good day everyone, and as always, keep safe.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
