It is now three in the afternoon, and although we haven’t been anywhere, we’ve been busy.
Hubby has now completed the chip repair on the car and it has come up a treat. We had also noticed a few scratches which have been sorted by some wonderful cream the motor shop gave us for the Hyundai. It’s not colour matched and works similar to the old T-cut you used to be able to buy, so for a hairline scratch, it’s ideal.
We had a walk in the park first thing and I took some more pictures of the ducklings.
It was pretty quiet, and we managed to walk further than we have for the past couple of days, so that was a big plus.
Our neighbour needed something done on the internet and asked for Hubby’s help as it involved scanning in documents. She actually gave us her printer when ours packed up as she never used it, so it was no trouble once Hubby got the software installed on his new laptop, something we’d overlooked on setting things up for him. He is still pleased!
Lunch was a success. We had the same thing, that being chili and a jacket potato, and I have enough for tomorrow. Hubby whizzed his portion of the mix, and I added a small amount of salad to my plate. For dessert, I defrosted some mangoes which he mixed with instant custard and I had grapes and yogurt with mine.
The garden is coming along and the onions coming up a treat. We seem to have lost all but one of our tomato plants thanks to two mornings of heavy frost, even though they were in the greenhouse. Hubby has planted some more seeds and we shall see what happens.
