Today is Thursday 15th April

It is 2pm and a funny sort of day, and reflected in my changing mood. At least I don’t feel as depressed as I did first thing. You’ll understand why in a minute.
Hubby had an INR this morning and is out of range again, but only just, so has another blood test scheduled for next week.

The weather is glorious, if you can keep out of the wind, and we enjoyed a pleasant walk through the park and back through the estate. Lots of visitors in the park, and not a mask between them, so we gave them all a wide berth.
I had a huge puppy fix with two pyreneans we’d previously met  the day of the carnival in 2019. The puppy is considerably bigger now, but they are beautiful dogs, and I was fussed by both.  We actually had a conversation, they telling me ‘all about their day and the fact that they hadn’t had breakfast yet’, much to their owners amusement. There is hope for me, but not a lot.
Photos Sept 2019…… puppy top!

Back from our walk, I put our stew on while Hubby had a rest as he is suffering with his knees at the moment.

Before all that though, although it is neither Christmas nor New Year, I got the polish out and dusted throughout, taking all of the knickknacks off the shelves and shining them up too. The washing is out on the line, more bedding today, so we are making the most of the good weather. Hubby is now giving our gates a fresh coat of wood preserver.

Hope your day is going well. Take care everyone, and keep safe.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
