The sun is shining, the frost has gone, and the day is looking exceedingly promising.
This is such a contrast to yesterday as we passed fields of snow and heavy frost on our way to the garage to view the car.
The washing is on as it has a fighting chance of drying outside, and apart from getting a small tin of touch up paint for the car (precaution for road chips in the paintwork) we are going to do ZILCH!
This is the new car and we mustn’t forget my Postman Pat which will go on the dash as it has in every car we’ve owned since my best friend bought it for me at the Blandford Steam Fair in 1999. Sadly she passed away in 2000 after fighting breast cancer for two years, so this little figurine is doubly precious.
Hubby found a some spark plugs he’d bought for the I10 and a couple over the road have one so I dropped them in this morning with a little note to say who they’re from. If they’re no good, we haven’t lost anything and neither have they. It was just a thought.
Have a good day everyone. Take care, and keep safe.
