Every week, Melanie poses four or five questions for her Share Your World series.
You can find out more and how to join in hereQUESTIONS:
If not now, then when?
Whatever it is, don’t put it off. Life’s too short and time has a habit of running out when you least expect it.
Can you describe your life in a six-word sentence?
I’m still here, and that’s enough
Do you remember that thing people used to say, about how you swallow eight spiders a year while you sleep? It’s not true, but do you think you’ve ever swallowed any? What bug do you think you’ve eaten the most of by accident?
I HATE spiders, and that saying always freaked me out. I swallowed a bug when the wind was blowing and I was saying something, but so far I have not found half a worm in my apple.
What’s the best approach to resolving conflict?
I hate conflict, so avoid it wherever possible. As to resolving it, it depends. Family issues I back off as quite honestly those raising the conflict have nothing better to do, and I have.
Gratitude Section (as always optional)
Where do you find inspiration?
It’s around me all the time……… the beach, the park, nature, people, dogs, a blue sky, a photograph, a smile, even if it’s behind a mask
“I’m still here, and that’s enough.”
Love that.
Stay safe, my friend.
Thanks Robert. Life’s good, and I’m not complaining………….. hey, that’s another six!!
I love your six word sentence.
Thanks Lauren.
Love your answers.
thank you!
You’re welcome 😉
Thank you for Sharing Your World Di! You are very wise (and clever) to come up with not one, but TWO nifty sayings to sum up your life! I love the photo of the two of you, you both look very happy (even with the masks)! Have a wonderful week! ❤
You too Melanie.
Wonderful answers to the questions – makes me think that you have the right attitude!!
I try Val!
