Sunday Whirl : wordle #495

Many thanks to Brenda Warren for setting today’s wordle challenge.
Please note my effort is a work of fiction.
Should you wish to participate too, you can join in here

I was glad of the miles separating us as there was no way I could reconcile with the family after what happened. I can still feel the angry bile rise in my throat when I remember the accusations that it was all our fault.
OOhh! She was such a rude and unruly child, yet her parents were in denial and told us to shove our observations where the sun don’t shine.
That was fine by us. They were entitled to their opinion of course and it was a while before they were enlightened.
It was all attention seeking of course when she gave them a fright pretending to stab herself, leaving a trail of ketchup over their kitchen floor. We never did find out what happened next.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

  1. Creative and fun use of the words! The “trail of ketchup” gave me a giggle 🙂
