Thursday photo prompt: Painted #writephoto: a reblog 4th March

This is my choice of reblog this week for Sue’s Write Photo challenge.
I remember gardens with such bridges, each a different theme hidden from view from the next. Tourists came from miles around to walk through the beauty of these gardens and to admire the Koi carp which were HUGE!

Sue Vincent has given us a fabulous relaxing photograph to work with this week. It reminds me of some spectacular gardens open to the public in my home town.

For visually challenged writers, theimage shows a rather oriental red bridge over aΒ  pool covered with waterlilies and surrounded by trees.

I am the greens of the morning,
So many merge and mingle,
Soft and gentle, rough and hard
I am here for the passage of time.

I am the colours of the evening,
Glorious in the sunset
Casting a magical glow over water
Clear and pure, passing underneath.

I am the bridge to tomorrow,
Knowing it will arrive,
But not what the day may hold,
A mystery to any who alight.

I am a painting in waiting,
From the artist’s eye I will evolve
To be reborn on canvas,
Silent, tranquil and serene.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.
