How is your physical and mental health overall?
On a scale on 1 to 10 where 1 is lousy and 10 brilliant, both are a good 8.
What is your current level of exercise or activity like today?
Two walks so far
Were you one for leading an active and physically active lifestyle before today – when younger as an example?
As a pre-11 year old kid, I enjoyed sports and games, but grammar school killed all that. I have always enjoyed a walk though, and would walk for miles.
Have you found that your exercise has been hindered or enhanced with the arrival of the pandemic?
No. We’d take the dog out for her walks every day, and even though she is no longer with us, we still go for walks.
How do you motivate your enthusiasm today?
I’d jokingly say chocolate, but it’s on the banned list for both of us. However, the fact that it’s been a glorious sunny day has certainly raised our spirits.
Do you find that your emotions are harder to manage in the current situation with covid or are you able to keep your mentality stable?
Because of Covid, we are more frustrated than emotional. However, the past few months have been an emotional time for a variety of reasons.
What is your over all vitality like today?
I wouldn’t say I suffer from S.A.D, but because it’s been such a lovely day, I’d describe it as ‘springy’.
What is a typical week like for you with activity – your interpretation?
Our life is normally uneventful, but basically we try to get out for at least 2 walks a day, aiming for around 3 miles in total each day.
