Both days, the marina surface was like a mill-pond, with boats and sky reflected perfectly.
The other basin was in the midst of its revamp and residents there had been put in with ours. The photo below was taken in December 2016.On some mornings, the water was so clear we could see huge mirror carp as well as the smaller fish swimming below us. It was also fascinating watching the heron biding his time to strike, and he never missed!

We have a lot of racing pigeons settle on the house roof opposite. They can be quite amusing sometimes!
