Today is February 1st: White Bunnies!!

Good morning everyone! It is a glorious day with beautiful sunshine, so walks are on the agenda!
January has got the year off to a good start if anyone is interested in stats. I clocked up over 12,500 views, my second highest, being just 250 less than November 2019.
Thank you, my kind readers! Numbers are great, but it’s the interaction and your comments that really make my day.
You might get the idea there’s a bunny theme going on today!
We hope to have stew today and tomorrow, but I can promise you no bunnies will be included in the recipe. Mum served it up once with veg and potatoes and tried to convince us kids it was chicken. Then Dad said it was a nice bit of rabbit and we pushed our plates away. I’ve made a few rabbit pies since then so you might remember this post.

Hubby has a blood test this morning so after last week’s rocketing, we hope it’s reduced by at least two points. Antibiotics and painkillers affect the numbers, so as he’s finished his course of the former, we should see an improvement in the numbers.

The sun might be shining, but it’s still chilly, so the stew with some fresh crusty bread will be very welcome when we get back from our walk. It’s too far to walk up to the surgery, but we have a few basics to get which should cost less than a fiver as we did our month’s shop last week.

Hope your day (and new month) has got off to a positive start.
Take care and keep safe.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

good going on your stats! Well done! I would never eat rabbit! I couldn’t! I did once as a child, but I didn’t realise as my mom also told me it was chicken! when I found out years later I was so crushed!
