It is a wet miserable morning and has been raining most of the night.
Hubby has an INR blood test this morning, but we think any hope of it being in range has been scuppered by the antibiotics he’s taking. The good news is he only has two more days, so maybe next week it will be more or less where it should be.
I’ve got a prescription to pick up and one to drop in for some Movelat cream which brings instant relief for my arthritis. The last tube I had was in September 2018, so it lasts ages as I use it sparingly. What’s the odds that the surgery will question it?
Breakfast consisted of porridge this morning, and we shall be having lasagne for lunch. Not homemade though but an individual shop bought one which is too much for one but ideal between the pair of us with some extra veggies.
To be honest, I’m feeling a bit ‘bleh’ today. I’ve got no energy or interest in anything, and would have been quite happy to stay in bed. Hubby has hurt his arm though, so I’m driving today. This is normally a time when I would be reaching for chocolate, biscuits and heaven knows what else in the sweet line, but I am glad to say that most of those have disappeared thanks to Hubby’s sweet tooth. That has a knock on effect though as he has put on weight.
It was quite a worry when he lost over a stone before his surgery in September and then another afterwards, so we have gradually been concentrating on getting a suitable balance.
Like me with SW, we set parameters, and he has just gone over, but that could be a lot to do with the cookies, biscuits, marmalade cake etc he’s got through this past week!
