6 Quickie Questions

Are you more of a sarcastic or pleasant personality or alternatively a mixture of the two pending your mood of the day?
Sadly any sarcasm is usually lost on people, but I like to think I’m a nice gal!
We live in a world of data, knowledge and information – but do we always have the right sort available at the right time?
Nope. I get so tired of being expected to jump through hoops, tick all the right boxes, and not be treated as an individual, especially when it comes to medical matters or filling out forms. Everyone’s different, and technology can’t allow for that (yet??)
What are three of your favourite ‘go to’ websites [not blogs] for information or relaxation?
Probably WIKI, youtube, and the NHS as our medical care here sucks.
How lucky are you?
Tons………… I’ve got Hubby.
What’s the best advice you have ever received from a friend?
Keep this one, he’s useful.
Advice from a friend when Hubby (not knowing he was going to become that) was breaking into her car as she’d locked her keys inside.
You have five minutes to pack a bag with the absolute essentials to be away for a long weekend in an unknown location … what do you pack and why?
Meds, money, ID, change of clothes, torch, batteries, phone, matches, toilet paper, wet wipes, towel, toothbrush and toothpaste, a sharp knife, bottled water, socks, pencil, paper, hairbrush, plastic bags.
All basics to keep clean, keep warm, have some comforts, means of communication, prepare food, disposal of ‘nasties’.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

Excellent quick pack list Di – practical and tidy and efficient – l guess that comes from also living on a boat, keep it simple, effective and minimal 🙂

    • Thanks. One thing we loved about living on a boat was if we fancied a few days away, no packing at all! I tried to prepare for all eventualities in that pack bag! Though you didn’t say how big, so I just thought of a backpack.
